This ambitious project involved designing and installing a stunning fibreglass lap pool and separate jacuzzi on a penthouse rooftop in Camps Bay. Key challenges included weight limitations, wind exposure, and ensuring flawless integration with luxury finishes and the iconic view.

Our Approach & Key Features

• Custom Fibreglass Shells: Designed and fabricated lightweight yet rigid fibreglass pool and spa shells off-site for crane lifting, ensuring precision and minimising on-site construction time.

• Wind-Resistant Heating & Covers: Specified an extra-powerful heat pump and installed automatic insulated slatted covers to combat heat loss from constant coastal winds.

• Glass Mosaic Tiling: Used exquisite blue glass mosaic tiles on the interior and coping to reflect the sky and sea, enhancing the view’s colours.

• Advanced Water Management: Implemented a fully automated chemical dosing and pH balancing system, crucial for a frequently used pool in a hard-to-access location.

• Panoramic Glass Fencing: Installed frameless glass fencing on three sides to provide safety without obstructing the breathtaking 270-degree ocean and mountain views.
